The inflorescence of what might be foothill rush as seen at left along the main east-west access road through the Simcoe Mountains Unit of the Klickitat Wildlife Area, northwest of Bickleton, WA........June 17, 2017. I'd want to collect a sample or key it out in the field to verify the ID. The photo at right shows what appears to be foothill rush at a spring along Box Canyon Road, Simcoe Mountains Unit of the Klickitat Wildlife Area.......July 1, 2020.
