[Fungi East of the Cascade Mountains of Oregon and Washington]

Purple coral as seen on a rocky and dirt dam at the outlet to Van Patten Lake, Wallowa-Whitman National Forest.........July 27, 2013. Everyone I've talked to about this was surprised about this location as purple coral is though of as a coastal (or west Cascades) species in the Pacific Northwest.
