Synonym: Lathyrus lanszwertii ssp. aridus
The upper three photos on this page were all
taken at a DNR rock quarry at about 4100' abreast a ridge dividing the Dairy
Creek and Cougar Creek drainages at the southeastern corner of Mt. Adams..........May
29, 2005. Plants on Mt. Adams are erect, rather than lax, and often lack tendrils
at the leaf apex.
The photo above shows the long, narrow leaflets, short tendril
and diminutive flowers of thick-leaved peavine as seen at a DNR rock quarry
at about 4100' abreast a ridge dividing the Dairy Creek and Cougar Creek drainages
at the southeastern corner of Mt. Adams..........May 29, 2005. Many of
the leaves of this species at this site and others on Mt. Adams either have
a very short, bristle-like tendril or lack the tendrils all together.
