Wild Carrot, Queen Anne's Lace: Daucus carota - Flowers in a flat-topped umbel with a reddish or purplish flower in the middle. The older umbels are cuplike like a bird's nest as they dry up. Several stiff, 3-forked bracts are found at the base of the umbel. The leaves are finely divided and plants have a strong carrotlike odor.
