Self-heal, Heal-all, Native Heal All: Prunella vulgaris var. lanceolata (Synonyms: Prunella vulgaris ssp. lanceolata, Prunella vulgaris var. elongata) - Native species. Wildflower to 16 inches tall. Flowers with 5 fused petals opening to two lips (shape is somewhat reminiscent of a sock puppet). Flowers rose to purple clustered at tops of square stems. Lanceolate leaves are opposite. Leaves of mid-stem are about 3 times longer than their width.

Self Heal, Self-heal, Heal All, Heal-all: Prunella vulgaris var. vulgaris (Synonyms: Prunella caroliniana, Prunella vulgaris ssp. vulgaris, Prunella vulgaris var. atropurpurea, Prunella vulgaris var. calvescens, Prunella vulgaris var. hispida, Prunella vulgaris var. minor, Prunella vulgaris var. nana, Prunella vulgaris var. parviflora, Prunella vulgaris var. rouleauiana) - Introduced species. Leaves of mid-stem are about 2 times longer than their width.
