Dwarf huckleberry. The upper four photos on this page were photographed in meadows at the western edge of Bird Creek Meadows on Mt. Adams.........August 13, 2006. The blades of this species are oblanceolate in shape. Notice the toothed margins which are found at the tip of the blade. The tiny blue berries are very flavorul.
