[Cryptanths: The Genus Cryptantha East of the Cascade Mountains of Oregon and Washington]

Thompson's cryptantha as seen in the Wenatchee Mountains of central Washington.........June 8, 2009. Note the remains of the previous years stems and basal leaves at the base of the plant. Thompson's cryptantha ranges from 10-30 cm high with the larger basal leaves ranging from 4-7 cm long and 5-10 mm wide.
