Several close views of the sepals and nutlets of clearwater cryptantha as observed along the Fremont National Recreation Trail #160 on the eastern slopes of Crook Peak, Fremont-Winema National Forest.......July 17, 2022. This species is differentiated from the similar varieties of Cryptantha intermedia by the one (or occasionally 2 nutlets) and smooth nutlet surfaces.
