Pods linear with pointed tips and strongly constricted between seeds, ranging from 5-17 mm long. Pedicels and pods ascending to widely spreading. Plants eglandular to glandular. Found from southern British Columbia south to California (to the east of the Cascades) and east to the Rocky Mts. from Alberta to New Mexico.

Pods linear, measuring 10-20 mm long and less than the length of the pedicels. Plants are eglandular. Found from British Columbia south through eastern Washington and Oregon to eastern California and east to Montana, Colorado and Nevada.

Pods linear and 4-12 mm long with pedicels shorter than the pods. Plants eglandular. Found from eastern Washington to Nevada and east to Montana and Colorado.

Found from southeastern Oregon to Wyoming and Mexico.
