Characteristics:
Habitat:
Pleated gentian may be found in moist to dry meadows or in damp soils from the valleys and foothills to well up in the mountains.
Range:
Pleated gentian may be found east of the Cascade crest from British Columbia south through Washington and south-central and southwestern Oregon to California and Arizona and eastward to the Rocky Mountains where it can be found between Alberta in the north and northern Mexico.
