The Genus Triteleia

Bicolored Cluster Lily : Triteleia grandiflora var. howellii

Blue Dicks, Douglas' Brodiaea, Large-flowered Triteleia: Triteleia grandiflora, former var. grandiflora (Synonyms: Brodiaea douglasii, Brodiaea douglasii var. douglasii, Triteleia grandiflora ssp. grandiflora, Triteleia grandiflora var. grandiflora: Plants higher, scapes 30-80 cm high. 6 fertile stamens present, each 1.5-3 mm long. Corolla with long tube and flaring lobes, from 18-30 mm long, concealing the ovary. Filaments about as thick as wide, not flattened. The inner 3 corolla lobes are wider and ruffled, the outer narrower and not ruffled (See photo above.).

Corolla with long tube and flaring lobes, from 18-30 mm long, concealing the ovary. Filaments flat. The inner 3 corolla lobes are similar to the outer 3 lobes.

Harvest Cluster Lily: Triteleia hyacinthina (B. hyacinthina): Plants higher, scapes 30-70 cm high. 6 fertile stamens present, each 1.5-3 mm long. Corolla shallowly bell-shaped, 10-16 mm long and not concealing the ovary.
