American Valley Sulphur Flower: Eriogonum umbellatum var. dumosum (Synonyms: Eriogonum umbellatum var. polyanthum, Eriogonum umbellatum var. speciosum)

What may be american valley sulphur flower as observed on balds along the Fremont National Recreation Trail #160, southeastern shoulder of Crook Peak, Fremont-Winema National Forest.......June 28, 2019. These are still early in their bloom period, so it possible these could be modoc sulphur buckwheat (Eriogonum umbellatum var. modocense). The long branches of the inflorescence however suggest these might be var. dumosum.
