[Flickers, Sapsuckers and Woodpeckers of the Pacific Northwest]

An American three-toed woodpecker observed in coniferous forest along the Pacific Crest Trail #2000 on the northwest side of Sawtooth Mountain, Indian Heaven Wilderness.....September 15, 2025. Sorry for the poor quality of the image as it was a dark forest and the image was taken with an iPhone at the extreme telephoto setting which results in a lot of pixelating of the image. Image taken for ID verification for eBird reporting.
