Starling
Sturnis vulgaris
Photo above is of a not too bright starling who decided to use
the bird bath during the middle of an ice storm (wind chill to -15F). The bird
sought shelter from the wind under the eaves of the house, and eventually warmed
up enough to return to normal starling activity.
