[Moths of the Pacific Northwest]

What apparently is a larva of the silver-spotted tiger moth that somehow got into the surf and was rescued at Bay Ocean Spit, Tillamook County, Oregon..........April 27, 2015. The larva feed on the needles of douglas firs.
